  • Drinking enough water throughout the day- this will help to flush out any cellular debris, toxins and encourage the lymphatic system moving.
  • Eating healthy fats – the most client that I see are deficient in Omega 3- they will help to keep any inflammation under control in the body.
  • Ditch the Sugars- we know that there is an increased amount of sugar added to the food that we are eating today. Insulin cant carries Vitamin C into the white blood cells effectively if blood sugar levels are high.
  • Don’t smoke- Mucous is a lot thicker when a person is a smoker. Therefore it makes the removal of mucous difficult and the delivery of oxygen,  harder for the body.
  • Drink in Moderation – Alcohol depletes the immune system and make you even more vulnerable to infections
  • Eat a breakfast and don’t  skip meals -when we allow our blood sugar levels to fall too low our immune system not working at its optimum level.
  • Excercise- Research has shown that moderate activity helps to boost the immune system.
  • Manage your stress- Stress causes increase levels of cortisol in the body and this tends to increase a person eating unhealthy foods and eating sugary foods on the run.
  • Rainbow of foods on your plate-Pigments on your plate are responsible for nourishing the elements in your immune system - red, purple, yellow and orange coloured foods
